How do I create a VideoLink? In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to create a video link on VideoLink, ensuring your audience can watch videos without any unwanted interruptions.

Step 1

Generating a VideoLink is a straightforward process. Simply copy the URL of your video from YouTube or Vimeo.

Step 2

There are two ways you can create a VideoLink.

A.

Proceed to your VideoLink dashboard and select "Add VideoLink'' to paste the link in the search bar on the right.

B.

On the VideoLink homepage in the top banner, paste your YouTube or Vimeo URL in the search bar and hit enter.

Step 3

Next, you can personalize the video's details by adjusting the title and description, or by clipping the video to highlight the specific section you need. Additionally, you have the option to add it to a playlist if desired. Finally, complete the process by clicking the check mark in the bottom right corner to save your changes.

In this article we will cover the 2 ways in which you can share a VideoLink and PlayList once they have been created

URL Sharing:

After creating your VideoLink, you can generate a URL for easy sharing. Just click the ‘Share’ icon, as shown in the image below. You can then paste this link anywhere, including Google Classroom. You can also follow the same steps to create a URL for your playlists.

QR Code Sharing:

You can create a QR code for any of your videos, including playlists. Simply select the ‘Share’ icon on your VideoLink or chosen playlist. In the pop-up box, you will find a QR code that you can enlarge. Save the QR code image and upload it wherever you need. Refer to the image below for a visual guide. [Please note it is not recommended to generate a QR code from an external website as the VideoLinks will not work. We recommend following the method outlined above.]

However, to ensure the smooth operation of our website and reduce junk or spam VideoLinks, we require that everyone create an account. Once you've created an account with us, the VideoLinks you create do not expire.
